we recently started using bors-ng and we love it so far. Thank you for making bors-ng, the try feature is awesome and allows to hand off our long and expensive builds to the CI system.
What we would need is a maintenance mode in which bors will not attempt merges or even tries. Basically we need to put bors-ng in maintenance (now we just stop it) while we run the release job.
Running the release job with a PR managed by bors-ng is revealing to be a bit unpractical.
